Next Sunday walk 22nd April
Start from Winford Village Green (in front of the Prince of Waterloo pub) at about 2.00 p.m. for a 2.10 p.m. prompt start.
Walking at a leisurely pace, we should arrive back by 5.00 p.m. There will be a gradual ascent of about 500 feet in a north-easterly direction up Dundry Hill, with good views over the Chew Valley. We will then return via the ancient woodland of Bithams Wood, followed by a level walk along a very quiet road and across fields.
All walks involve walking over rough ground, which can also become very muddy after rain when wellingtons or waterproof boots are required. There will be a number of various wooden stiles to cross. Dogs welcome if kept under close control.
