2015/16 Improvements

All this at Felton Village Hall ?

We start the year with the completed installation of Solar Panels on the roof of the Hall. This was made possible by the generosity of the Bristol Airport Environment Fund which granted us the £6,495 total cost. We are advised that with the current level of feed in tariff available to us, the panels will show us a significant saving on our electricity bill for the next 20 years.

Through 2015 we have refurbished the Hall kitchen with new  work tops, new tiles, new non slip floor covering, new dishwasher, new fridge, and the toilets have benefitted from being repainted, retiled and new floor coverings. Outside we have installed new security lights and the main body of the hall has seen 60 new stackable chairs and 10 new tables.

These new additions support a fully fitted kitchen complete with matching cutlery and crockery for 100, a new heating system with additional radiators, BT Wi Fi installation, a fully stocked bar, a skittle alley, and all the necessary licences for dancing, films, and live entertainment. Why not take advantage of all these facilities by booking the Hall for your special event. Visit the website, www.feltonvillagehall.com, for information and our list of charges, and then telephone Angela on 472223. Remember there is a 25% reduction for our loyal 100 Club members.

The 100 Club together with the Management Committee have raised the funds needed for all these improvements but we continue to need your support. Please find time to come along to at least one of our functions in the new year, or better still volunteer your help and join the management committee. We would love to have you on board. Simply ring me on 472802 and I can explain what is involved.

If I have created an interest, and you would like to be kept up to date with ‘what we do’ or what’s on at the Hall, please send an email to paulhatherell@btinternet.com and I can include you on our mailing list.
